  • December 17th: Youth Group at 6:30
  • December 24th: No Youth Group:  Christmas Eve Candlelight service at 5:00pm
  • December 31st:  Youth Group Year End Worship Celebration at 6:30
  • January 7th: No Youth Group – take a break for safety sake J
  • January 14th:  Waters Edge: 3G – the 3rd regeneration begins: 6:30

I assure you that this was not an easy decision, but am confident in the Lord’s leading in this. It has been a true joy serving you all in Waters Edge. I will always have fond memories, and will truly treasure what God has done. Thank you so much for allowing me to be a part of your families lives, and allowing me the opportunity to share God’s love with you.

I am sure you are wondering what is next for me. The elders of Lakeside have asked me to focus more time on the administrative tasks that they have laid before me. This will allow me to spend more time equipping believers to serve Christ, and to provide support to all ministries of Lakeside. I am very excited about this next stage, and am also grateful that God has allowed me to continue ministering at Lakeside. I truly love the body that God has formed here. Please also know that God has called me to serve the body of Lakeside, and I will continue to do that in this new role. Feel free to call or contact me if you need anything, or need to talk.

And I am sure you are wondering what is next for Waters Edge. The elders and I are happy to announce that Kevin and Lori Whittemore will be leading our youth ministry. Kevin and Lori bring an excitement and heart for youth along with a passion for serving Christ. They have several years of youth ministry experience, and in fact, started Waters Edge at Lakeside 8 years ago. Please pray for them as they return to this ministry.

Again, thank you so much for allowing me to be a part of your life. I will continue to pray for you, that you all would grow closer to God and seek his will for your life.

Pray for Angela and myself as we take this next step. We are very excited!

Jeremiah 29:11 says “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord. Plans to prosper you, and not to harm you. A plan for hope, and a future.”
